A Welcome Party at Florida Keys Brewing Co, Getting Ready at Cheeca Lodge, and a Rain to Sunset Wedding at Pierre’s
K + K’s wedding weekend in Islamorada was everything I love about the Keys. Easy. Family centered. Full of real connection. We kicked things off at Florida Keys Brewing Co for their welcome party. Super laid back. Local beer, lots of hugs, everyone settling into the weekend together. It felt like family right away.
Getting Ready at Cheeca Lodge, and a Rain to Sunset Wedding at Pierre’s
Getting ready at Cheeca Lodge was calm and meaningful. Their bridesmaids were their daughters, which changed the entire energy of the morning. It felt layered. Generational. Quiet help with dresses. Little glances in the mirror. The kind of moments that don’t scream for attention but mean everything.
Earlier in the day, a Florida storm rolled through. Dark skies, quick rain, that dramatic Keys weather. But by the time the ceremony began at Pierre’s, the sun was fully out. Bright. Warm. Ocean sparkling behind them. The night ended in the softest sunset over the water. Barefoot energy. So much love. So many people who truly know them. Laid back. Family focused. Exactly what it was meant to be.
