Some weddings just have a certain energy to them, and this was one of those days from the start.
M + M got ready at the Young Mansion, which set the tone right away. It felt calm but excited, everyone just genuinely happy to be there. The kind of morning where nothing feels forced and everything flows naturally.
Their ceremony at The Ancient Spanish Monastery is one of those settings that doesn’t need much. The architecture, the stone, the way the light moves through the space, it already feels special before anything even starts. It’s one of my favorite venues in Miami for that reason. It has so much character but still leaves room for the day to feel like them.
The whole day had this mix of style and ease. It looked beautiful, but more importantly it felt fun. Their people showed up for them in the best way. You could feel how loved they are in every part of the day, from the ceremony to the way everyone just stayed present and fully in it.
There were so many small moments that stood out. Walking through the gardens, the way they kept checking in with each other, the energy during cocktail hour that just kept building into the night.
And then the after party.
The dress change was everything. It completely shifted the energy in the best way and you could feel everyone loosen up even more. The dance floor stayed full, people were actually dancing, not just watching, and it turned into one of those nights you don’t want to end.
This day was captured on both digital and film, which felt really fitting for a setting like this. A mix of clean, crisp moments and softer, more nostalgic frames that bring you right back into it.
This day felt like a perfect balance. Beautiful setting, great style, but still completely grounded in real moments and real connection.
