Engagement photos at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miam



J + M’s engagement session took place at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, one of South Florida’s most recognizable and timeless locations. With its historic architecture, manicured gardens, and quiet corners tucked throughout the property, Vizcaya offers a lot of visual variety while still feeling calm and intentional.


We started the session with J in a flowing blue dress, which felt right at home against the stone textures and greenery. The movement of the dress paired beautifully with the gardens and allowed the session to stay loose and natural as we walked through different areas of the property.

Midway through, J changed into a short white mini dress, which shifted the energy just enough. A little lighter, a little more playful, and perfect for exploring some of the more open spaces around Vizcaya. That outfit change gave the session a nice balance and kept things feeling fresh without overcomplicating it.


These engagement photos were captured on a mix of digital and film photography. Film helped slow things down and hold onto the softer, quieter moments, while digital allowed us to stay flexible as the light changed and the session moved through the gardens. Together, it tells the story of the afternoon in a way that feels true to how it actually unfolded.
