A + M kept their day simple in the best way. Just the two of them, a quiet Airbnb in Fort Lauderdale, and no pressure to make it anything other than what it was. Slow, intentional, and very them.


This one was especially close to my heart. The bride is my best friend, and both of them are photographers themselves, so there was an unspoken understanding from the start. They didn’t want a performance. They wanted to be present. To move through the day naturally. To let moments happen instead of forcing them.


They got ready together, took their time, and exchanged vows in the most intimate way. No audience, no timeline stress, no distractions. Just the kind of calm you only get when you strip things back to what actually matters.


Everything was photographed on digital and film, which felt fitting for a day rooted in texture, emotion, and quiet details. The in-between moments. The pauses. The way they kept finding each other without thinking about it.


After their elopement, we headed to the bride’s father’s home for an intimate family dinner. A small group, good food, conversation lingering longer than planned. It felt less like an event and more like a memory unfolding in real time.


This day didn’t need much. And that’s exactly why it worked.
