A sunny Key Largo wedding at Baker’s Cay filled with incredible florals, sunset portraits, and a night of nonstop celebration
Gina and Mike’s wedding at Baker’s Cay in Key Largo was one of those days that just felt good from start to finish. Perfect sunshine, ocean views everywhere you looked, and a group of people who were clearly so excited to celebrate them. The whole day had such an easy, joyful energy that made it really fun to photograph. Baker’s Cay is such a beautiful spot for a Florida Keys wedding. The property sits right along the water with palm trees, docks, and open ocean views that make every part of the day feel relaxed and scenic. It gave us the perfect mix of tropical scenery and elegant details. One of the things that stood out immediately were the florals. They were absolutely incredible and brought so much color and life into the space. Everywhere you turned there was another arrangement that made the whole day feel vibrant and full of personality.
Another really unique part of their wedding was the live painter they had during the reception. The artist painted portraits of their guests throughout the night and everyone got to take their painting home as a gift. It was such a fun and thoughtful detail, and it was amazing watching guests light up when they saw their portraits come to life. As the sun started to drop, we snuck away for sunset photos by the water. The Keys light at that time of day is always beautiful and it was the perfect quiet moment before the dance floor really got going. And once the party started, it did not slow down. The reception was full of laughter, hugs, dancing, and so many moments that made it clear how loved Gina and Mike are by their people. This wedding was photographed on both digital and film, which felt perfect for the atmosphere of the day. The combination captured the bright Florida sun, the color of the florals, and all of the candid moments throughout the celebration.
Gina and Mike’s day at Baker’s Cay was truly one of those weddings that reminds you how special it is when a group of people comes together to celebrate love.
