Engagement photos at the Fort Lauderdale Jetties in South Florida



This engagement session with K + B took place at the Fort Lauderdale Jetties, a popular spot in South Florida for couples who want a relaxed, beach-forward location without the feel of a traditional park or venue. The jetties offer open shoreline, textured rock formations, and soft ocean light, which makes it easy to move around and let moments unfold naturally.


For this session, we spent most of our time walking along the water, exploring different angles around the rocks, and letting the session stay fluid instead of overly posed. The Fort Lauderdale Jetties are ideal for couples who want candid engagement photos, a little movement, and a setting that feels natural and unpolished.

These engagement photos were captured on a mix of digital and film photography. Film allowed me to slow down and focus on connection and in-between moments, while digital gave us flexibility as the light changed along the shoreline. Together, the combination works especially well in a location like the Fort Lauderdale Jetties, where no two moments look exactly the same.
