A + I’s Wedding at The White Room | St. Augustine, FL
Some weddings just feel warm and welcoming from the very start, and that’s exactly how A + I’s day felt in St. Augustine. It was relaxed, full of love, and had just the right amount of fun. Everything about it felt like them.
The morning started casually at their Airbnb. Everyone was laughing, hanging out, and taking it slow, which made the whole day feel calm and happy. One of my favorite moments of the entire wedding happened there—Andie’s mom helping her into her dress. It was such a sweet, emotional moment, and you could feel how close they are. Andie looked incredible in her strapless gown with its full skirt and long, flowing veil. It was classic and elegant but still felt very her.
Before the ceremony, we stopped at Magnolia Street for photos, and wow… that street is a dream. The way the trees drape with Spanish moss feels straight out of a movie. Andie and her bridesmaids looked amazing walking down the middle of the street, her girls in soft pink dresses with white and blush bouquets. It was one of those moments where you can feel how excited and happy everyone was to be celebrating her.
The ceremony and reception were at The White Room, which has such a romantic, historic feel. Their ceremony space was lined with white flowers and greenery around a simple wooden cross, and it felt so intimate and emotional—nothing overdone, just beautiful.
Andie and Ian really thought about their guests, which I loved. They personally handed thank-you cards to everyone at the reception, and it was such a kind and personal touch. But one of the best moments of the night was their grand entrance. Instead of just walking in, they came into a room filled with bubbles, smiling and laughing as everyone cheered, and went straight into their first dance. It was such a fun, happy way to kick off the night and set the tone for the party that followed.
And what a party it was. The dance floor was packed all night, everyone was laughing, dancing, and just fully celebrating. The energy was electric and you could tell no one wanted the night to end.
Still, my favorite thing about the day wasn’t just the details or the party—it was watching Andie and Ian together. The way they looked at each other, the little laughs they shared, and all those quiet in-between moments are what made their day feel so special.
